How Should I Go About Replanting My Re-headed Irishman Cactus?

I recently got a catus as a gift. I already replanted it about two weeks ago with soil specially for cacti. However, this morning when I went to go pick up the pot, the cactus fell out with the tightly packed bunch of soil it was originally in. How should I replant it correctly?

You did plant it properly. They have a slow root growth so it will take a couple of months for the roots to grow into the new soil. So just replant it the way you did before. When you replant it just pack the new soil around the old soil and not pack too tightly. Just be careful when you pick it up for the next couple of months. Below are couple if links that may help you.
