I wonder if anyone anything about cacti, and if you know the enzyme EPSP. I have a cactus and seems to be immune to Round-up, and I know that the Round-up ruins of EPSP, so that Cacti, why not those of the Round Up?
Note: Do not kill me, looking for like a cactus, do not seem to be only a few scientific data that I can find online.

I have no idea about the enzyme, but cacti do not absorb spray on chemicals as readily as most broad leafed plants due to CAM metabolism, although I think the roots would absorb it fairly quickly…. Round up is intended for small weeds and such, but cacti are some of the hardiest plants on earth so i think much more chemical would be needed to kill them.
Maybe it is because Round-up enters through the leaf and cactus leaves are thorns.
