Is there such a thing as hardy palm trees that can be planted in zone 5/6?
a pindo palm would make it and im quite sure a sabal palm would as well.

As Deserts Are Extremely Cold At Night, How Do Plants Like Cactus Survive The Cold Night In The Desert?
there is a vast diiference in temperature in the day and night at the desert, so how do plants in the desert survive the cold temperature at night?

Suggestions For Cold Desert Plants?
I am looking for shrubs in a cold desert in Arizona to a height of about 4000 meters above sea level suitable. Plants that are watered frequently and should be preferred are not spoiled.
