Apparently, the opposition party president has said that Obama is the elimination of most agricultural subsidies, including many who subsidize ethanol. Whereas, Obama pledged to eliminate our nation's dependence on foreign oil, this seems a step backwards in that commitment, especially it also is against drilling for more oil.
In fact, many are highly critical of its energy policy in its entirety. In their struggle against the approach of storing nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain, NV, though political analysts say the stance is a response to Harry Reid and his constituency solid liberal President Barrack Obama who want to work with the demo-party ARCT. Ironically, he says he is pro-nuclear, but did not mention in his State-of-the-voice the Union.
His critics say that what we're doing now is so historically typical MO Obama voted "present" and never really make a decision about anything. Illinois is the most nuclear of all our states. But curiously, Senator Barrack Obama has changed his stance on coal, which is another trade-off policy, for the U.S.? No, his political opponents say it's all about Obama and his need for political power.
Being pro-nuclear groups of the Obama Administration for a difficult time negotiating with Iran, but be against storage on the other hand gives you a leg up in the control of Iran's nuclear fuel through the assistance of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). Being opposed to Bio Fuel seems to resonate with Muslim clerics, although comments can be expected given that oil is what you pay for civilization.
However, more importantly, we are Americans and all that nonsense about alternative energy denies the reality of our energy usage, the need for reliable 24 / 7 energy and lots of it. We must also realize that we have not taken a single step to eliminate our dependence on foreign oil, nor have any political Obama Administration got us closer to that promise, Obama's critics say that I am one. Think about it.
